A Queens teenager was charged with attempted burglary and other offenses Saturday after Nassau County police responded to a report of a suspicious person entering a yard on Hillside Boulevard in New Hyde Park.
Mykai T. Bullock, 16, of 146th Street, Jamaica, was charged with attempted burglary, grand larceny, eight counts of petit larceny and four counts of attempted petit larceny.
At arraignment Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead, Bullock’s bail was set at $500 cash or bond.
According to detectives, shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday Third Precinct officers responded to a report of a suspicious male entering a yard on Hillside Boulevard and blocked off the area. They said Bullock was found on Brown Place and an investigation found that he was a suspect in several larcenies from vehicles and an Oct. 20 attempted burglary in Mineola.
Police said their investigation is continuing.
