A 19-year-old Sag Harbor man was arrested and charged with DWI, as well as with fleeing the scene of an accident, after police said he struck another vehicle Monday evening in Southampton — then fled on foot, only to be caught moments later.

Camilo Naanch-Wajarai was charged with misdemeanor DWI and with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and he also was issued multiple summonses for traffic infractions.

He faces arraignment Tuesday in Southampton Town Justice Court, Southampton Town police said.

Police said the crash occurred on County Road 39 at 8:05 p.m.

No one was injured in the crash.
