Man, 39, found shot dead early Saturday in Hempstead

A man was found fatally shot in Hempstead, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
The man, who was 39, was found by police officers Saturday just after 1 a.m. on Yale Street, the department wrote in a news release. He was declared dead at a hospital.
No other information was disclosed.
