Stony Brook University police have released a photo of a man they are seeking in connection with a groping incident in a school bathroom Saturday, officials said.
Robert J. Lenahan, chief of Stony Brook University police, said in a statement that the force, as a result of the incident, also conducted a search of campus buildings and deployed additional officers at strategic locations. Additional campus police will be dispatched for the “foreseeable future,” a Stony Brook spokeswoman said.
Police have released a photo of the man they are seeking in connection with the incident, identified as Miguel Angel Condori, 33.
A graduate student told police the man approached her and began touching her about 3:40 p.m. Saturday.
The incident occurred in the third-floor bathroom in the Social and Behavioral Sciences building, police said. The woman pushed the man away and he ran from the bathroom, they said.
Campus police ask anyone with information to call them at 631-632-3333.
