Nassau police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old Valley Stream man who died from a gunshot wound Tuesday, officials said.

Police were called to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream on Tuesday after the victim had arrived at the facility.

Doctors at the hospital, which is part of the Northwell Health system, pronounced Pharoh Boone dead shortly before 11 p.m.

He had come into the hospital’s emergency room about two hours earlier suffering from a gunshot wound to the back, homicide detectives said.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
