SPENDING $39,484,400, a 1.81 percent increase from the current $38,783,000.

TAX LEVY 1.813 percent increase, from $27,836,848 to $28,341,641. This is equal to the district’s 1.813 percent tax-cap limit, so a simple majority vote is required for approval.

TEACHER PAY / PROGRAMS Salary increase estimates are subject to negotiations. The proposed budget adds $23,000 for security for summer and after-school programs as well as $25,000 for school counseling under a state mandate.

PROPOSITIONS

A proposition requests approval for phase 4 of the capital reserve that includes bathroom renovations at an estimated cost of $2 million. Approval of the proposition will not affect the tax levy.
