When Long Island's 2015 valedictorians begin college in the fall, they'll do so near and far -- from Stony Brook University to schools in California.
Most of the 2015 class of valedictorians will stay in the Northeast, a Newsday.com map shows. They'll be attending Ivy League schools, numerous local colleges from Hofstra University to NYU, and programs across New York State.
Some will head further afield, from Miami to Palo Alto, Calif.
