I Do!: Jenna Sidor and Tony Naclerio of Bellmore
After his first date with Jenna Sidor, Tony Naclerio knew he didn’t want to be with anyone else.
Naclerio, then in his mid-20s, was single and dating when they first met at King Umberto restaurant in Elmont on Sept. 8, 2017. But as soon as he got into his car that night, he canceled all his other dates.
“I was pretty set that I wanted to explore what we had from within the first few minutes of conversation,” Naclerio, now 34, said. “All the boxes were ticked, and I felt that this was something special.”
Sidor, 31, also felt a spark: “We just hit it off right away,” she said.

The pair found they had similar values and they were at a point where they were ready to get serious about a relationship, Sidor said.
“We knew what we wanted,” she said. “There were no games. It was very straightforward.”
In 2019, Naclerio bought a house in Bellmore. Sidor moved in, and then the pandemic happened. Both teachers, they suddenly found themselves living and working in close proximity, often teaching classes from the same table.
“That really solidified, we’re ready for this,” Sidor said.
In February 2022, Sidor said she came home from dinner with her best friend to find the living room decorated with candlelit lanterns, roses and a video montage of photos of the couple. Taylor Swift songs were playing as Naclerio proposed, she said.
The couple wed on July 3, 2023, at The Piermont in Babylon, followed by a four-week honeymoon: two weeks in Greece and two weeks in Italy. While in Italy, Sidor said they visited some of Naclerio’s relatives.
“It was really special,” she said.
