Rachael Redhead, of Massapequa, has received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service from the State University of New York. Redhead is the director of people and culture at Stony Brook University, where her responsibilities include the oversight of human resource services for more than 1,200 staffers. She is also a leader of the university’s Finance & Administration Alliance for Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, and has been a human resources coordinator in finance and administration for the university and a senior human resources business partner for the university’s Department of Information Technology.
