of Freeport received the Long Island Charity Superstar Award at Literacy Nassau's 2010 (un)SCRABBLE Challenge, a fundraiser that required teams to form the highest-scoring words in timed rounds. Grosser, who was honored for the "significant impact she has made on the lives touched by the organization," is director of external affairs for Madison National Bank and a board member of the Madison National Foundation. She is a member of the Arthritis Foundation, President's Council at Adelphi University and the Boy Scouts of America's Theodore Roosevelt Council.
