Devin Edward Wesch, 19, of Selden, killed in East Quogue motorcycle crash

A Selden man riding a motorcycle Monday afternoon in East Quogue was killed when he lost control and crashed into a pole, Southampton Town police said.
Devin Edward Wesch, 19, was on the motorcycle heading west on Montauk Highway near Shinnecock Avenue when he lost control shortly before 4 p.m. and crashed into a pole off the side of the road, police said. Wesch was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed the road between Jones Road and Shinnecock Avenue for several hours while police investigated.
