Nassau County police have released an image of a man they said is a suspect in the robbery of a Capital One Bank branch in Baldwin on Nov. 17, 2015. Credit: NCPD

He robbed a Capital One Bank branch in Baldwin.

Now, Nassau County police are asking for the public's help in locating him as investigators try to identify and find the man who they said robbed the bank on Grand Avenue on Nov. 17 at 5:42 p.m.

Police have released a photo of the suspect, captured on video surveillance. He is described at being about 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a thin build. He wore a blue/gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses, police said.

Police did not say how much was taken. They said the robbed handed a teller a demand note, then fled with cash into a parking lot.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
