Nassau County police are looking for two men who robbed a 12-year-old boy at 5:20 p.m. Thursday in front of his home in Elmont.

One of the subjects punched the boy in the face while another grabbed an iPad from his hands, police said. The robbery occurred on Chelsea Street, police said.

The victim ran home and called the police, and the two men ran west, police said.

The boy was taken to a hospital for bruises to his forehead.

Detectives request that anyone with information about the robbery call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
