Cops: Crash closes Southern State Parkway in Wantagh

The Southern State Parkway is closed in both directions in Wantagh as State Police investigate a multivehicle crash Friday night, officials said.
State police said about midnight that the Southern State is closed in both directions between the Wantagh State Parkway and Wantagh Avenue. The initial call of the crash came in at 10:52 p.m., police said.
Further information on injuries or how many vehicles were involved was not immediately available.
