A 23-year-old Glen Cove woman was arrested Thursday, charged with committing three burglaries in Sea Cliff in June and July, police said.

Patricia Bright of 12A Janet Lane committed the burglaries on Downing Avenue, Dogwood Lane and Laurel Avenue after cutting the screens on unlocked windows and entering the homes, Nassau County police said early Friday.

She was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary -- and faces arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Bright was arrested at the Third Precinct after an investigation by Third Squad detectives and members of the Asset Forfeiture Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team.

Police said Bright took assorted jewelry from the home on Downing Avenue during a break-in at about 2:30 p.m. on June 21, then burglarized the home on Dogwood Lane at about 1 p.m. on July 19.

It was not clear what was taken in that break-in.

The third burglary occurred on Laurel Avenue at about 12:15 p.m. on July 23. Police said jewelry was taken then.

It was not immediately clear what evidence police believe links Bright to the burglaries.
