Cops: Man robbed at gunpoint in Elmont
Fourth Squad detectives are looking for two men who late Monday robbed another man of his wallet, cash and a cellphone in Elmont, Nassau County police said.
The suspects pulled a silver semiautomatic handgun on a man, 27, who was walking on Belmont Boulevard at about 10:38 p.m., police said.
The men demanded the victim's belongings and then fled north on Belmont Boulevard. Police said the victim also had personal papers, as well as an unspecified amount of cash, in the wallet. There were no injuries, police said.
