Nassau police are investigating a break-in at a Massapequa cellphone store that took place early Tuesday.

Robbery Squad detectives said someone "threw a rock, breaking the front door" of a Verizon Wireless store at 5070 Sunrise Hwy. at around 2:30 a.m., then entered and took a number of cellphones.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to make a confidential call to Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
