An employee of a Uniondale Dunkin' Donuts was robbed Friday by a male armed with a gun and wearing women's glasses, Nassau police said.

The suspect had a black handgun when he came into the Clare Road business about 12:35 p.m. and demanded money from the worker, police said. She handed over cash, but it was not clear how much, and the robber got away on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect had an unshaven face, and was 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds, police said. He was wearing brown women's glasses, dark pants and a dark sweatshirt, police said.

No injuries reported, police said.

No other details were released.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
