Three men, armed with a handgun, burst into a house in Woodsburgh late Thursday, bound the homeowners and the female housekeeper, and stole jewelry, cash, electronic devices and a gray Mercedes GL450 before fleeing, Nassau County police said.

Friday morning, police were searching for the armed trio.

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred at 11:30 p.m. at a home on Wood Lane South, in the Five Towns area, police said.

The suspects entered the house through the unlocked front door, police said.

Once inside, police said they confronted the male homeowner, 34, and demanded money and jewelry. They then bound the homeowner and a female housekeeper, 20, with neckties, securing their hands and feet, police said.

The female homeowner, 33, returned home in the midst of the home invasion and, police said, she was bound, as well.

The trio then fled.

Police said the three men are all believed to be in their 30s. One was about 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, the other two about 5-foot-9 -- one weighing about 200 pounds, the second 235.

The gunmen all wore dark clothing, police said.

The tall suspect and the thinner of the other two suspects both wore brown Timberland boots, police said, while the third man wore black boots.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the home invasion to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.

All calls will remain confidential, police said.
