Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash in Bethpage
A 35-year-old motorcyclist was transported to a hospital in critical condition after his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle Wednesday in Bethpage, Nassau County police said.
Police have not released the identities of either driver, but said a northbound 2017 Cadillac SUV driven by a 28-year-old woman on South Broadway was turning left when it collided with the southbound 2018 Yamaha motorcycle at about 6:45 p.m.
The female driver was also transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said. Her condition was unknown.
Police said no charges have been filed in the incident but the investigation is ongoing.
