Nassau police are seeking the driver of a vehicle that fatally hit a pedestrian and left the scene in Williston Park early Sunday.

Police said a 41-year-old man was found lying in the street at Syracuse and Broad streets at 4:10 a.m. The man had been struck by a vehicle, which was driving north on Broad Street, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at 4:20 a.m. by at the scene, police said.
