Four people have been arrested in connection with a slew of armed robberies over the past month, Nassau County police said.

Police said Juan C. Vallecillo, 33, Cecilia Vallecillo, 36, Jaime R. Machado, 28, and Henry Armando Hernandez, 18, were charged for their part in seven robberies in Hempstead, Baldwin, Rockville Centre and Uniondale from Aug. 2 to Sept. 9.

In most of the robberies, police said the defendants wielded a handgun, and in some, they also flashed a knife or a machete. After each robbery, police said they fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was reported hurt in any of the robberies, which police said happened as follows:

Aug. 2 at 3:10 p.m.: The defendants entered the Multi-Service Express at 390 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead armed with a handgun and a knife and demanded money from the employees.

Sept. 2 at 10:30 p.m.: The defendants entered Eli's Deli at 10 James L.L. Burrell Ave. in Hempstead armed with a handgun and demanded money.

Sept. 4 at 11:10 p.m.: The defendants entered the Sunny Express at 59 S. Franklin St. in Hempstead armed with a gun and a machete and demanded cash from the owner.

Sept. 6 at 12 p.m.: Cecilia Vallecillo, Machado and Hernandez entered the One Stop deli at 1947 Grand Ave. in Baldwin and demanded money from an employee.

Sept. 8 at 1 p.m.: The defendants approached a male victim in the back parking lot of 18 S. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre, forced him into the cab of a delivery truck at gunpoint and robbed him.

Sept. 9 at 8:36 p.m.: The defendants entered a beauty salon at 512 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead armed with a handgun and demanded money.

Sept. 9 at 10:45 p.m.: The defendants entered the Mambo Deli at 911 Nassau Rd. in Uniondale armed with a gun and demanded cash.

Detectives found Juan C. Vallecillo and Jaime R. Machado with the help of Village of Hempstead police and arrested them Thursday at 8:10 p.m. on Yale Street in Hempstead, police said. They found Cecilia Vallecillo and Henry Armando Hernandez and arrested them on Friday at 3:10 a.m. at 206 Yale St. in Hempstead with help from Hempstead police.

Henry Armando Hernandez and Jaime R. Machado, both of 206 Yale St. in Hempstead, and Cecilia Vallecillo, of 54 Whitehouse Ave. in Roosevelt, are all charged with seven counts of first-degree robbery and seven counts of second-degree robbery.

Juan C. Vallecillo, also of 54 Whitehouse Ave. in Roosevelt, is charged with six counts of first-degree robbery and six counts of second-degree Robbery.

All four are scheduled to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
