The Macy's store at Roosevelt Field mall was evacuated Thursday night after a bomb threat was called in, authorities said.

The call was made shortly after 7 p.m., Nassau police said.

Officers searched the store, but did not find anything, a mall spokesman said.

The rest of the mall was not evacuated, he said, and shoppers were allowed to return just before 8:40 p.m.

A police spokesman said he did not immediately have other details.
