The Uniondale Public Library is having a "meet the artist" reception for local collage artist Mary E. Jones from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Jones has an exhibition at the library, at 400 Uniondale Ave., that began May 1 and runs through the end of the month.

Billed as inspirational, motivational and celebratory, the show has 28 pieces. It is themed: A Little Bit of Everything.

Jones is also a participant in an exhibition running through May 31 at the African American Museum of Nassau County in Hempstead, "The Women of a New Tribe."
