On Tuesday, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder declared war on the phone fraudsters, email scammers and other con artists who try to rip off senior citizens and other residents, kicking off a series of public forums at the Franklin Square Senior Center. The program announced the start of the Nassau County Police Department’s Senior Citizen Education Program.
