Nassau County police are looking for a man who robbed a Roslyn Savings Bank Monday in Oceanside.

The man entered the bank at 3140 Long Beach Rd. at about 9:30 a.m., gave a woman teller a note demanding money and then left after getting an undisclosed amount of cash, Robbery Squad detectives said.

The suspect fled south on Long Beach Road in a minivan taxi.

The suspect, thin and about 5 feet 8 or 5 feet 9, was wearing a dark T-shirt, jeans and sneakers, police said.

There were five employees and a customer present at the time of the robbery; there were no injuries, police said.

One person was questioned not long after the robbery, but was found not to be involved and was released, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
