Highway officer seriously hurt in weather-related crash, Nassau police say
A Nassau highway officer suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a weather-related crash in Old Westbury late Monday night, police said.
The officer was taken to a hospital after the approximately 10:50 p.m. crash on Glen Cove Road near The Pines community, Nassau police said.
No more details were released by police.
