Nassau and Suffolk County residents head to the polls Tuesday to vote in four congressional and two State Senate primaries in newly drawn election districts.

For the first time in decades there are three open congressional seats on Long Island, with Republican Rep. Andrew Garbarino the only incumbent seeking reelection,

There also are two Democratic primaries for State Senate, one in Nassau and the other in Suffolk.

The primary races are:

1st Congressional District  Republican primary (vote for one): Nicholas LaLota; Michelle Bond; Anthony Figliola.

2nd Congressional District — Republican primary (vote for one): Andrew Garbarino; Robert Cornicelli; Mike Rakebrandt.

3rd Congressional District — Democratic primary (vote for one): Joshua Lafazan; Robert Zimmerman; Jon Kaiman; Reema Rasool; Melanie D'Arrigo.

4th Congressional District — Democratic primary (vote for one): Laura Gillen; Keith Corbett; Carrié Solages; Muzibul Huq.

4th State Senate District — Democratic primary (vote for one): Monica Martinez; Phil Ramos.

7th State Senate District — Democratic primary (vote for one): Anna Kaplan; Jeremy Joseph.

Voters may look up their polling places through the New York State Board of Elections portal at: voterlookup.elections.ny.gov

Nassau County residents also may reach the county Board of Elections by calling: 516-571-VOTE (8683).

Suffolk County residents may reach the county Board of Elections by calling: 631-852-4500.
