In a story published Oct. 5, 2024, about Elon Musk’s appearance at a rally for Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, The Associated Press erroneously quoted Musk as saying Democrats "want to take away your fight to vote, effectively.” Musk said “they want to take away your right to vote, effectively.”
