Christine Malafi has been the Suffolk County attorney since January 2004. Before that, she was a partner at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles & Kaufman, a firm based in Melville. She received her law degree in 1991 from Touro College's Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and her bachelor's degree from Dowling College in 1988. She is married to Suffolk County Legis. Louis D'Amaro.
