Below is the full text of Carl Paladino's speech to ultra-Orthodox rabbis in Williamsburg yesterday, as given to us by the rabbis.

As we noted early this morning, it was distributed to reporters well in advance of the GOP gubernatorial candidate's remarks -- he was noshing on a pastrami sandwich at Gottlieb's deli while reporters waited -- and is annotated.

Rabbi Yehuda Levin, Paladino's guide through Orthodox Brooklyn, is claiming credit for writing the Buffalo businessman's Borough Park speech, which did not contain anti-gay rhetoric, but isn't saying who wrote the Williamsburg remarks.

On the first page, the organizers crossed out the paragraph relating to the Islamic community center near Ground Zero before it was distributed to reporters waiting for Paladino on Ross St. We were told that the senior rabbis did not want the facility mentioned inside a synagogue. The notations on the second and third page are mine, as I noted the three slight word changes -- and the one significant edit -- Paladino made while reading the speech.

And if you want to watch Paladino read the seven-minute address, WNYC's Azi Paybarah took video.
