Two Long Island businesses and one resident have collected lottery winnings totaling a combined $4 million, the New York Lottery announced Monday.

Huntington business 3317 Holdings LLC won $2 million in the Powerball drawn on Oct. 2. The company had purchased the optional $1 Powerplay that automatically doubles the $1 million second prize to $2 million, lottery officials said in a statement. The company received a single lump sum payment of $1,302,001, after required withholdings. The winning numbers were: 12, 26, 27, 43, 47 and the Powerball 5.

Leslie Scurry, of Bay Shore, claimed a $1 million Powerball second prize for matching the first five numbers drawn on Dec. 13, lottery officials said. That ticket received a one-time lump sum payment of $651,004, after withholdings. The winning numbers were: 03, 08, 41, 56, 64 and the Powerball 18.

Ray & Barb Mechanical Inc., of Hicksville, claimed a $1 million second prize in the Dec. 18 drawing, lottery officials said. The company received a one-time lump sum payment totaling $651,000, after withholdings. The winning numbers were 05, 08, 19, 34, 39 and the Powerball 26.

The current Powerball jackpot of $1.09 billion began rolling over on Jan. 3, with the next drawing taking place Wednesday night. The Mega Millions jackpot of $45 million will be drawn on Tuesday night.

As of March 25, sales for Powerball and Mega Millions tickets have generated a combined $72 million for public schools and $12.4 million in commissions for lottery retailers — many of which are small businesses, the New York Lottery said.
