Firefighters from four departments battled an attic fire that damaged a home in Dix Hills early Monday.

Police said there were no reported injuries.

The fire on Hunting Hill Drive was reported in a 911 call at 12:07 a.m., Suffolk County police said. The caller said flames were visible in the chimney area of the home and all occupants had evacuated.

Volunteers from Dix Hills, Huntington Manor, Greenlawn and Deer Park responded.

Fire officials could not immediately say Monday how badly the home had been damaged.

The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
