Two firefighters hurt in Brentwood blaze, fire marshal says

Two firefighters were injured in a Brentwood house fire late Monday, officials said.
A 911 call came in at 11:37 p.m. reporting the fire on Virgil Drive, a Suffolk police spokeswoman said. The department’s Arson Squad is investigating, the spokeswoman said.
Brentwood Fire Marshal Rob Kuehn said one firefighter received minor burns and another injured his leg. Both were treated at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore and released Tuesday morning.
