Crash on LIE blocks eastbound lanes for 3 hours

Two lanes of the eastbound Long Island Expressway were blocked for several hours Monday afternoon between the Sagtikos Parkway and Commack Road after a vehicle pulling a trailer crashed, Suffolk County police said.
The crash, which was reported just after 3 p.m., did not appear to have caused any injuries, police said. All lanes reopened shortly before 6 p.m.
