A driver who struck a parked car and crashed into a house in Coram on Friday, got out of the car and punched out a bedroom window in the house, police said.

Abdulmacid Kesici, 21, of Sound Beach, was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs, and with criminal mischief.

Kesici was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center for treatment of cuts sustained when he punched the window, police said.

He was driving a 1999 Subaru that struck a 2011 Nissan, and then a house on Peacock Court about 3:20 p.m., police said.

When the car struck the house's attached bedroom extension, two people and a dog were in another part of the house and were not injured, police said.

After the crash, a building inspector determined all but the bedroom section of the house was habitable, police said.
