Four arrested in Northport drug raid
Four people were arrested, accused of illegal drug possession at a Woodbine Avenue home Wednesday night, the conclusion of a months-long investigation, the Northport Police Department said.
Jordan Domer, 23, of Northport, and Francesca Somolinos, 25, of Miami Beach, Fla., were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. Kaitlin Prianti, 16, of Huntington Station, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Damion Somolinos of Centerport was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
All four suspects will be arraigned in Suffolk County 1st District Court, police said.
The home had been under surveillance for several months by the Northport Police Department after officers learned controlled substances and marijuana were being sold there, authorities said.
A police search inside the home uncovered over 8 ounces of marijuana and "a quantity" of Suboxone pills, a controlled substance similar to oxycodone, along with instruments for weighing, measuring and packaging marijuana and narcotics, officers said.
Handgun ammunition and hypodermic syringes that police believe were used for injecting heroin were also discovered, police said.
The Northport police investigation was done in conjunction with Suffolk police's Narcotics Bureau and Emergency Service Bureau, authorities said.
