A 60-year-old man was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash in Huntington Station Friday night, police said.

Robert Finnan, who lives in Huntington Station, was driving south on Depot Road in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser around 7:15 p.m. when he hit a 2017 Jeep Wrangler heading north, Suffolk police said.

Finnan was taken to Huntington Hospital with a serious head injury. The driver of the Jeep Wrangler, a 54-year-old Huntington resident, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
