A Queens man faces several harassment charges after a disturbance involving 500 people early Saturday at a Farmingville bar, Suffolk County police said.

Ryland Banton, 24, of Ozone Park, was arrested after he struck three people, police said. He was arraigned on three counts of harassment and one count of disorderly conduct in the 1:05 a.m. disturbance at Las Vegas Sports Bar, 1075 Portion Rd. He was released on his own recognizance.

Bar manager Lupario Moreno-Bonilla, 33, was cited for having a disorderly premise under the state Alcohol and Beverage Control Act. The bar owner and a private promoter were hosting a party that catered to Stony Brook University students, police said.

Police said they went to the bar about 1 a.m. after bar security reported that the crowd had become too large to control. Officers found more than 200 people in the parking lot and about 300 inside.

Many in the crowd were unruly and refused to leave, police said.

More than 50 officers from the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth precincts, Emergency Services, Crime Scene and K-9 units were called in.
