Jared Rueb, of Selden, dies in motorcycle crash
A Selden man is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Thursday in Holtsville, Suffolk police said.
Jared Rueb, 46, was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle south on North Ocean Avenue near Peconic Avenue at about 6:20 p.m. when he lost control and struck a curb. He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
His motorcycle was impounded for a safety check.
