A second man has been arrested on murder charges in the death of a man whose burning body was found at the Otis Pike Preserve in Manorville on Oct. 15, Suffolk County police said Wednesday.

Homicide Squad detectives arrested Orlen Soliz-Galvez, 18, of Amityville on a charge of second-degree murder; he is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said their investigation into the death of German Guzman, 36, of Amityville, is continuing. His body was found after a motorist on Wading River-Manor Road noticed a fire on the side of the road

On Oct. 18, police arrested Bryan Rosales-Mejia, 21, also of Amityville, charging him with second-degree murder.

He was remanded at his arraignment and is due back in court on Friday, according to court records.

Rosales-Mejia's attorney, Joseph Hanshe of Sayville, said in a statement Wednesday that his client will enter a plea of "not guilty."

Hanshe said further "investigation reveals another person actually murdered German Guzman."
