Sarah P. Goode, Medford mom, still missing
A young Medford mother remained missing Wednesday, days after failing to return home from a friend's house, Suffolk County police said.
Sarah P. Goode, 21, disappeared early Saturday under what detectives call "suspicious" circumstances, and her family has joined police in appealing for the public's help.
Her car was found two days later on a two-lane street in a residential neighborhood next to a large wooded area, at least a mile from where she lives.
Police said officers were continuing to search for the young mother Wednesday but said there were no developments.
Goode has a 4-year-old daughter who friends said has been in the care of her family since the disappearance.
Goode, who works in Patchogue as a medical technician, was last seen about 1 a.m. Saturday at a friend's house in Shirley, police said.
The youngest of nine children, she graduated from Longwood High School and then attended business school.
She is described as 5-foot-3 and 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has a flower tattoo on one foot.
Police said anyone with information could call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
