A male gunshot victim drove himself to a Bay Shore hospital Monday night for treatment, Suffolk police said.

Emergency room staff at South Shore University Hospital treated the unidentified victim for a non life-threatening injury after he arrived at 7:45 p.m, according to police.

No additional details about the shooting were provided, including where it took place, the victim's age or hometown.
