A Flanders man was driving drunk with a suspended license when he was stopped Tuesday for failing to stay in his lane, Southampton Town police said.

Gregorio Vasquez, 51, was driving on Priscilla Avenue in Flanders at about 3:40 a.m. on New Year's Day when police pulled him over.

Police said they found Vasquez was intoxicated and driving with a license suspended for a previous DWI conviction.

Because of the previous conviction, Tuesday's DWI charge is a felony, police said. Vasquez also is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony.

His arraignment information was not immediately available.

Town police said they also arrested a Hampton Bays man on a DWI charge after he was stopped for a lane violation at about 1:57 a.m. Tuesday on Montauk Highway East at Ponquogue Avenue in Hampton Bays.

Arraignment information for Recep Kocyigit, 46, who is charged with DWI, was not immediately available.
