Whether you’re a car enthusiast or in need of a new set of wheels, Long Islanders might score a deal Saturday when the Suffolk County police put more than 100 vehicles up for auction.

Cars, trucks and motorcycles are among the rides that will be up for grabs, with minimum bids starting at $500, at the department’s impound facility at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton, starting at 9 a.m.  All the vehicles will be sold in “as-is” condition.

The vehicles range from sedans to SUVs, including a 2016 Maserati Ghibli, a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450, a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, a 2008 Lincoln MKZ, a 2005 BMW X5, a 2005 Volkswagen Beetle, and a 2010 Toyota Prius.

Nissans, Dodges, Hondas, Jeeps, Ford pickups and more will all be available for bidding.

A vehicle preview will take place on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and one hour prior to Saturday's auction, which will be held rain or shine.

A variety of motorcycles will also be available, such as a 2020 Bajaj Platina, a 2018 Suzuki GSX and a 2017 SSR Razkull 125, as well as Hawks, Kawasakis and Yamahas.

Full payment is due at time of sale for purchases up to $2,000.

All sales are final and cash only.

Vehicles are sold on SCPD bills of sale with a copy of the public auction advertisement. No titles are given, and bills of sale are nontransferable. To learn more about the auction regulations, visit suffolkpd.org.
