Employees of two businesses in Huntington Station and Commack were arrested Friday night during a sting operation on charges of selling alcohol to a minor, Suffolk County police said.

Police said they sent an underage agent to seven businesses in Huntington Station and Commack to attempt to purchase alcohol. Of the seven, two businesses -- Jenny's Deli and Grocery at 1044 New York Ave., Huntington Station, and Hess Express at 5087 E. Jericho Tpke. in Commack -- failed the inspection and sold alcohol to a minor, police said. The businesses will be referred to the State Liquor Authority, according to police.

Police arrested Jenny's Deli employee Luis Lopez, 50, of Huntington Station and Hess employee Robert Dispenza, 19, of St. James, and charged both with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

Lopez and Dispenza were issued appearance tickets. They are due in First District Court in Central Islip on April 2.
