Wanted: Store robbery; theft of iPhone

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for two men wanted in connection with a robbery in a Westbury store.

Police say that at 6 p.m. on April 24 two men entered the Nordstrom Rack store at 1040 Old Country Rd. and stole about $1,900 worth of True Religion jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are looking for a man wanted in connection with the theft of an iPhone from a Shirley gas station.

According to police, at 8:50 p.m. on May 9, the victim accidentally left his phone on the check-out counter while he paid for items at the Citgo gas station at 950 Montauk Hwy. After the victim left, another man seen standing in line behind the victim took the phone and left the store.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s, about 5-foot-8 with a heavy build and short shaved dark hair. He was wearing a black shirt with a large neon-colored character print on the front. He got into the passenger side of a white vehicle, possibly a GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer, that left the scene.
