Tom Catapano, Baldwin
Led Baldwin to the Nassau Class AA title.
Matt Brisson, Sachem East
Won 22 of final 24 games, and captured the state Class AA championship.
BOYS BASKETBALL

Dave Graff, Westbury
The Green Dragons won their first Long Island championship since 1996 and first county title since 2000.
Suffolk
Bill Mitaritonna, Hills West
Led the Colts to a Long Island championship and a berth in the state championship game.
WRESTLING
Darren Goldstein, Rocky Point
Guided the Eagles to their first state tournament title.BOYS TRACK
Donald Ross, Westbury
Coached one of Long Island's most balanced teams to another Class B indoor title and sent six athletes to the state championships.
GIRLS TRACK
Erica Fregosi, Garden City
Trojans dominated Nassau during the indoor season and took home a Federation championship in the 4 x 400. They also captured National titles in 4 x 400 and sprint medley relay.
BOYS BOWLING
Jay Hegi, Sewanhaka District
Won its first Nassau championship and placed sixth in the state tournament.

The team swept the regular season, winning the Suffolk championship and finishing second at state tournament.
BOYS SWIMMING

Led the Friars to their first CHSAA championship.

Led his team to its fourth consecutive Nassau Michelino division title.
BOYS FENCING
Jeffery Salmon, Ward Melville
Guided Patriots to their fourth consecutive L.I. championship.
GIRLS FENCING
Jennie Salmon, Ward Melville
Team has won 129 straight matches and nine county titles.
GYMNASTICS
Debbie Rut, Plainview JFK
Led her team to an undefeated regular season and second place in the Nassau meet.
