LINDSAY TAYLOR
Long Island Player of the Year
Kings Park, Pitcher, Sr.
The Syracuse-bound Taylor finished her high school career with 94 wins, 18 no-hitters, seven perfect games, 1,171 strikeouts, 51 shutouts and 19 home runs -- all top-10 in state history. In 2011, her 24-3 record helped Kings Park reach the State Class A finals for the first time. She struck out 338 hitters along the way, tossing three perfect games, smashing eight home runs and driving in 29 runs.

ISABELLA CORRAO
Nassau Player of the Year
Farmingdale, Pitcher, Sr.
The four-time All-Long Island selection carried the Dalers to new heights, bringing the program its first county title and Long Island championship, in which she tossed a three-hit shutout against unbeaten Bay Shore. The Virginia Tech-bound senior went 15-7 with a 1.82 ERA and 292 strikeouts, including a career-high 20 against Island Trees in April. Also a feared hitter, Corrao walked 32 times and finished with a .388 average and .639 OBP.

KRISTEN BROWN
MacArthur, Pitcher, Jr.
She can beat you in the circle, 10-1 with a 1.88 ERA, or at the plate, .448 with six homers and 20 RBIs. Led MacArthur to the Conference I title and has already committed to North Carolina.

KRISTIE CAPUANO
Hauppauge, Catcher, Sr.
Broke school records in runs (31), batting average (.554) and on-base percentage (.628), stole 16 bases and drove in 28 runs. Will attend LeMoyne on a softball scholarship.

ASHLEY COLE
Carle Place, Pitcher, Jr.
Tossed a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in the Long Island Championship and finished 16-3 with a 0.60 ERA with 218 strikeouts and just four walks. She also hit .419 with three home runs and 36 RBIs.

MICHELE DAUBMAN
Plainedge, Pitcher, Sr.
The Fordham-bound Section VIII Pitcher of the Year led top-seeded Plainedge with her arm (19-3, 0.95 ERA, 191 strikeouts) and her bat (.437, 3 home runs, 17 RBIs) to earn her third All-Long Island selection.

ALY DZIERZYNSKI
Deer Park, Catcher, Sr.
The C.W. Post-bound All-County selection and League V field player of the year hit .564 with 28 runs, 23 RBIs and nine doubles. She struck out just three times.

ANDREA KLARMAN
Longwood, First Base/Pitcher, Sr.
Klarman led Long Island with 11 home runs. Her shutout in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs that gave Longwood its first playoff victory since 1986.

JAMIE LAIRD
East Meadow, First Base, Sr.
The Dowling-bound, Section VIII Player of the Year hit .545 with five home runs and 23 RBIs and led East Meadow to the county finals for the second straight season.

TAYLOR McGOWAN
Bay Shore, Pitcher, Sr.
The three-time All-American and All-State selection was 20-1 with seven shutouts an 0.45 ERA and hit .538 with 35 RBIs. She will attend Rollins College after going 53-6 with 29 shutouts and seven no-hitters in her career.

LINDSAY MONTEMARANO
Seaford, Third Base/Pitcher, Soph.
Her six-RBI performance in the Nassau semis helped Seaford overcome a seven-run deficit en route to an unexpected county title. The two-time All-Long Island selection hit .592 with five home runs and 37 RBIs and went 9-1 with a 2.58 ERA.

ALLIE PISCIOTTA
Kellenberg, Catcher, Jr.
The CHSAA Player of the Year led Kellenberg to a league championship by hitting .446 with three home runs and 28 RBIs and became known for picking off baserunners that took too large of a lead at second.

SAMANTHA SMITH
Sachem East, Centerfielder, Sr.
The Fordham-bound Smith batted .754 with 52 hits, a .782 on-base percentage, 13 RBIs and 16 stolen bases while playing in a tough Suffolk League I.

COURTNEY SYRETT
Bay Shore, Catcher, Soph.
A five-tool player who bats cleanup, Syrett hit .493 with four homers, 33 RBIs, 27 runs and a .933 slugging percentage.
