The four candidates vying for two trustee seats in the Village of East Hills will take part in a debate Monday evening hosted by the United Civic Associations of East Hills. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen Glannon Meeting Room at Bryant Library.

Running are incumbents and Unity Party members Emanuel “Manny” Zuckerman and Clara Pomerantz, and challengers Mitchell Winn, an independent, and Matthew Weiss from the East Hills Advocacy Group.

The terms are for four years.

“The civic leaders wish to provide an opportunity for the Village of East Hills’ residents to learn about the candidates’ platform and vision for the future,” said Carmen Krauss, president of United Civic Associations of East Hills.
